Humanitarian message
Our humanitarian message is addressing people who believe that by a helping hand and a smile they can bring happiness and peace into suffering souls. In the christian spirit, in that of humanity and solidarity, we make an appeal to your kindness and ask you to join the Association “Let’s Grow Old Gracefully” – Bucovina in its striving to support its social, medical and educational activities, in its care for our fellows who are suffering. We must remember that there are happy people on this planet, but unfortunately there are others who, despite their will, have an unfortunate life. The latter category are born and live in inhuman conditions, they are burdened with terrible diseases, of which some can not be treated. Others are abandoned at some point in life and live true tragedies. Lacking food, clothing, medicine, even a shelter, such human beings have tears in their eyes, they cry, they dream, they live and they hope that one day their torment will come to an end. We are also human beings and we must not get careless past those, whenever they or organisations that are dealing with their problems, are asking for our help. Some of the people who have the means, even more people of modest or limited means, very often give a helping hand to their fellows in major need. Our Association has created adequate conditions for sheltering, assisting and treating such persons in serious need.
We must note that there are a lot of such cases throughout the country and we intend to support as many as we can, but in order to ba able to do so, we largely depend on the material and financial means we have. Currently, as a humanitarian association, we are dealing with huge financial and material difficulties, in order to support the programmes and activities aimed for the benefit of our fellows who live in inhuman conditions. We are in stringent need for funding in order to be able to get past such difficulties, and to be able to take care, treat and save the persons who are living real tormented lives. For this we need your help. Therefore, we are kindly asking you to join us in supporting our humanitarian activities. You can contribute to the ease of pains that can be lessened, you can contribute to saving one or more human lives. However, we need to note that, in compliance to the provisions of the law, NGOs may not generate profit, and thus they are financed by sponsoring, donors and generous persons, at their own will, directly or by their companies.
We address this message to you due to the force majeure situation we currently find ourselves in and because the activities and programmes of our organisation can be financially assisted only by means of donations, sponsorships and contributions coming from generous persons, no matter what field they are acting in. By the help of people who believe in God, of those who know and understand suffering, the lives of those who suffer now can take a turn to the better if you only wish for that. Therefore, we hereby invite you to cooperate with our organisation as sponsor, donor, member or founder and you can benefit from facilities by making a good deed to the benefit of those who need your help. You can contribute aas much as you or your company can afford, so as to follow the word of Jesus Christ. Please find a way to help us. The Association “Let’s Grow Old Gracefully” – Bucovina is in stringent need of USD 250,000; you need not send the total amount, but a portion, as much as you can aford. The donation can be done in one of the bank accounts of the Association which can be found below. Any penny is important to us and will add to this fund, that is neede in order to get past the force majeure conditions that the Association is going through. Also, the Association “Let’s Grow Old Gracefully” – Bucovina needs materials, such as ambulances, equipment and medical devices of any kind, medicine, food, TV sets, refrigerators, computers, clothing, shoes for both children and grown-ups.

Material donations that we need: 4 nurses with the possibility to travel, medical equipment, medicine, food, clothing for children and grown-ups, female, male and children’s underwear, linen and beds, shoes for children and grown-ups, computers, TV-sets, refirgerators, furniture and other long-term-use goods, can be sent to the official address of the Association “Let’s Grow Old Gracefully” – Bucovina Loc. Give a small part of your own in order to assist the humanitarian activity of the Association and thus contribute to supporting the persons in need and other needs that our association is constantly interested in. Let’s consider and help our unfortunate fellows. So help us God!
